Machine Electro compost
Today, the biggest problem of human society is the garbage that its amount increases daily with population increase. On the other hand, there are a lot of difficulties in different countries with a lack of space for burying and destroying this garbage. This garbage can cause environmental and groundwater pollution after dumping, and this landfill site cannot be used for many years. The electro compost machine has developed a third method in the world for converting urban wet waste to fertilizer using modern electronic methods.
In this method, first, the leachate garbage is separated after separation and crushing, and the debris is transferred to the reservoir by transfer tubes, then, in less than an hour, the all cells are broken and turned into a fertilizer free from any contamination. There are two methods for turning waste to fertilizer in the world:
The first method of fertilizer production is by bacteria that is a time-consuming process and lasts about 8 weeks and in addition to contaminating the environment and releasing the leachate, it also produces methane and the yield fertilizer is rich in bacteria and viruses and parasites.
In the second method, called the Vermicompost method, the waste will be consumed by worms, which, in addition to the high cost, does not have the proper returns and lasts for 7 weeks.
Now, the electro compost machine has reduced the time of converting the waste to fertilizer for less than 1 day, and the yield fertilizer is free of any contamination. The electro compost machine, using electronic knowledge, has developed a new way that no further garbage can be buried, and its leachate does not pollute the environment.
Electro compost Machine Objectives:
• Material reuse
• Reducing health contamination, in order to protect the environment
• Reducing landfill and not losing the suitable land in nature
• Reducing costs and creating economic benefits
The need to use compost fertilizers
By the late 1970s, increasing the use of chemical fertilizers was the most effective and cheapest way to supply the food needed by people around the world, especially in developing countries. Gradually, from the early 80’s onwards, the effects of uncontrolled fertilizer use on the nature appeared, especially in developed countries, which produced and consumed more widely in chemical fertilizers. Extensive use of chemical fertilizers leaves undesirable effects on all under cultivation, and chemical fertilizers are recognized as the main contaminant factor to the environment in many parts of the world.
Given the rapid population growth, the need to produce more crops, including important and strategic products such as wheat, rice and potatoes, is now becoming more and more felt in society. Therefore, it seems that the best way to achieve this and also to provide part of the required currency is to increase production per unit area. But increasing production should not be done by neglecting other important issues. Unfortunately, however, the increase in production is now either accompanied by a rise in the level of area under cultivation, or by the use of more pesticides and chemical fertilizers that among them, the first case has led to a decrease in the level of forest and grasslands, and the second, in addition to overshadowing the quality of manufactured products and consumer health, has led to an ever-increasing increase in plant’s water requirements and increasing water consumption and pollution of water and soil.
Currently, the addition of organic matter to the soil, which, in addition to improving the physical and chemical conditions, has a very positive effect on nutrition and increased solubility of most of the plant nutrients, has been left out by farmers. Poor soil in most areas due to micronutrient organic matter and the use of organic fertilizers over the years has caused the soil to be unsuitable for root growth and yield loss. However, the fertilizers of urea and phosphate are used by farmers regardless of the type of soil and crop cultivated every year more than a year ago.
Electro compost system is designed and implemented for the following purposes:
1- To maximize the biological activity of the soil.
2- To minimize soil erosion.
- Recycling plant and animal wastes and minimizing the use of non-renewable resources.
- To minimize environmental pollution and creating a healthier ecosystem.
5- Food production, with the right quality and quantity. - Producing healthy and diverse food.
- Increased farmers’ income in hardscrabble areas.
- Livestock rearing with better and healthier food and producing more resistant and more durable cultivars of the plants in the production of textiles.
The natural fertilizers produced by the compost process, in this type of agriculture, replace chemical fertilizers that not only it does not pollute the environment but it they will fully provide the materials and nutrients needed by the plants easily. In fact, in the process of composting, waste organic in the environment, such as rural and urban wet waste, as well as crop residues, will be turned into nutritious compounds for plants after a certain period of time. The final product of this process is called composite fertilizer.
Desirable Effects of Electro Compost Fertilizer:
-Prevention of environmental pollution (land, climate) due to the non- dumping of organic wastes in the ground
- Physical modification of soil and reduction of compression, and erosion prevention
- Increasing rooting and root development
- Facilitating root airing and increasing air penetration
- Keeping the land moist and increasing degree of saturation (high water and food storage capacity)
- Supplying the plant nutrition and soil fertility
- Increasing plant resistance and increasing absorption
- Neutralization and chemical modification
- Biological progress of soil
- Free of weed seeds
Reducing costs as a sustainable source of income
Today, the constraint of ever-increasing resource requirements has turned the issue of “cost management” into a necessity in cities, especially large cities. Although the income of municipalities in recent years has received significant growth through various incomes and other resources, on the other hand, its costs have increased, and today the acquisition of new methods and the prediction of reliable and sustainable sources of revenue and the adjustment of municipal expenditures are a major concern of city planners and managers, including the Islamic councils of cities and mayors.
Managing wet waste, collecting, transporting and processing them is one of the costliest activities of municipalities, which by finding a new way to reduce these costs can be a major step towards sustainable urban management. Undoubtedly, the electro-compost machine is the most up-to-date method in
This field, which will make a wonderful change in this direction.
Using the electro compost machine makes:
1) The duration of the conversion of waste to compost fertilizer is less than one day.
2) Use as animal feed and poultry
3) Preventing of environment pollution (land, climate) due to the non- dumping of organic wastes in the ground
4) Physical modification of soil and reduction of compression and prevention of erosion
5) Increasing rooting and root development
6) Facilitating root airing and increasing air penetration
7) Keeping the land moist and increasing degree of saturation (high water and food storage capacity)
8) -Supplying the plant nutrition and soil fertility
9) -Increasing plant resistance and Increasing absorption
10) Neutralization and chemical modification
11) Biological progress of soil
12) Free of weed seed
Benefits of implementing the project in the Sustainable Urban Management Division and deploying machines at the intermediate stations:
1- Removing transportation costs to the landfill from the collection site to the intermediate station to the processing and dumping station
2- Removing waste landfill and utilizing from the minimum land and operational space
3- Production of no viruses and parasites and bacterial compost fertilizers and supplying it as one of the most productive and cost-effective products
4- The potential of collecting each car increases with respect to the dimension of the transmission distance and multiplies.
5- Depreciation of the car at the time of operation is minimized due to the distance dimension.
6- Due to good earnings, the incentive to invest in the private sector is very high.
7- In the unused spaces and the margin of public spaces, there is the possibility of deploying the system.
Uses of Electro compost fertilizer:
1 – Agriculture
2 – Urban green space
3 – Fungi culture
4- It can be a good food for chicken and fish, by adding a little protein.
Throughout the world, the time it takes to convert waste to compost fertilizer is about a month that the input of this wet waste can be distinguished and with the entry of wet waste, the machine takes the opportunity to produce bacteria and, by separating the water from the waste, it leads to the hothouse which by using waves, heat and radiation, it would have veridical and in less than a day, it converts to the intended fertilizer. In this machine, the leachate obtained from the waste can be stored and it can be used as irrigation, or in general, can be removed. The machine has an air purification system to prevent the smell from the waste in place, and all of these processes are carried out automatically.
